Payment terms
When you book an ad you are agreeing to pay the current price by the due date. The due date is stated on your invoice. In cases of overdue accounts, we will exercise our statutory rights under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. In this respect, interest at the rate of 3 per cent above the base rate per 14 day period will be added, compounded on each 14 day period on any outstanding balance from the date of the invoice until the date of receipt of payment in full. Also, please be advised that in accordance with European Directive 2005/35/EC a debt recovery fee will be charged if legal recovery action needs to be taken.
Payment for new advertisers may be asked for with booking of the ad.
Payment is by cheque or BACs, we do not currently accept cards.

Accuracy of ad
Whilst every care is taken to ensure accuracy, the publishers cannot accept responsibility for loss damage or omission caused by error in the printing of an advert or other information.
Adverts are accepted on the understanding that descriptions of goods and services are fair and accurate. The publishers cannot accept responsibility for views expressed by contributors, or for the accuracy of claims made by advertisers.

The index within the magazine is provided as free service, mistakes within the index will not allow any refund to the advertiser.

If you approve an ad proof and then either spot a mistake at a later time or change your mind on the ad content after the 15th of the month, we will not be able to change your ad or liable to give any discount or refund.

Deadlines
Copy for your advert should be sent by either the 8th latest of the preceding month if the ad requires designing / altering in any way or by the 15th of the preceding month if you are sending ready artwork in jpeg or pdf format.

Ad copy can be changed each for each edition even on a multiple edition booking but you must inform us if you wish to do this, Go Local! will not check or prompt you for each edition. The deadlines in the paragraph above must be followed.

Ad format
Advertisements submitted to us should be in one of the following formats: MS Publisher, MS Word, JPEG, TIFF or pdf. We do not accept other file types or MS Powerpoint. The ads and images within them must be high resolution at a minimum of 300dpi and can be submitted by email to rachel@yourgolocal.co.uk or sent to us on a disc. Alternatively, the ad may be sent as a hard copy in a format ready to scan but this will not give as high quality print result as an electronic version of the ad.
If a finished ad is sent to us at a quality less than that specified above we do not offer reprints or refunds if the print quality of the finished ad in the magazine is blurred or pixellated.

Copyright
We take no responsibility for the content of your ad.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your ad is legal and copyright free. We cannot accept ads which you do not have permission to copy e.g. from another publication such as the BT phone book or Yellow Pages.
If you wish to use an ad designed by another publication it is your responsibility to get permission first for its use.

Results
We can make no guarantee that your ad will be successful, therefore we are unable to offer a refund if you receive no response. The cost of your ad covers the cost of printing.

Distribution area
The distribution area may be altered at the publisher’s discretion without prior warning.
